Miriam Shanaman

Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder

A Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology, Dr. Miriam Shanaman completed her undergraduate and veterinary training at the University of Pennsylvania, earning her VMD in 2009. She subsequently completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at New York City Veterinary Specialists followed by a 3-year combined Master’s degree and clinical residency in diagnostic imaging at the University of Illinois, earning her board certification in 2013. Through her Master’s research and clinical training, Dr. Shanaman has published multiple articles addressing the use of contrast-enhanced multi-detector CT in the assessment of awake and minimally sedated canine patients with acute abdominal signs. Dr. Shanaman also has extensive experience with the use of contrast-enhanced ultrasound in the same context. Her primary clinical interest is to maximize the utility of survey radiographs and CT in the emergency setting while exploring innovative workflows to deliver critical results effectively at the point of care.

Connie Ziegler, a graduate of Cedarville University and a radiology industry veteran, brings decades of demonstrated experience in healthcare software industry. Connie grew up on a Midwest farm, surrounded by crops and four-legged creatures. An avowed “horse woman,” she brings her passion for native gardening, and her dedication to her family to now serving you, so that you can take optimal care of your patients.

Ranjan Jayanathan is a healthcare technology and imaging executive with over 30 years of experience in radiology and medical imaging. After a long career as Chief Information Officer of RadNet, the largest human-imaging company in the United States, he founded RadsForVets to bring excellence, reliability, clinical rigor, and technology innovation to veterinary medicine. Through RadsForVets, he is motivated by a genuine desire to support veterinarians with high-quality teleradiology services delivered with compassion, sincerity, and care. Rather than listing accomplishments, Ranjan issues the following plea: “If you can find a teleradiology company whose radiologists are even half as engaged as ours; whose customers are even half as happy as ours; or whose entire team is even half as nice as ours: PLEASE let me know immediately, because we obviously have work to do.”

Jody Ruth is a strategic CFO with a proven track record of driving growth and maximizing shareholder value. She excels at developing and implementing financial strategies that align with business objectives, improve operational efficiency, and enhance profitability. With a strong focus on data-driven decision-making, Jody has successfully led companies through periods of rapid growth and transformation. In her free time, Jody is a championship equestrian jumper, and lives in McLean, Virginia.

As Director of Business Development at RadsForVets, Sonia is passionate about making veterinary radiology more accessible, leading to faster diagnoses and improved patient care. She is a skilled relationship builder who fosters strong partnerships to drive positive change. With a proven track record, Sonia brings a unique blend of technical and business acumen to her role. She graduated with a computer science and math degree from Rutgers University, followed by an MBA from Babson College. Outside of work, you can find her volunteering as a board director for the parents’ association at Philips Academy Andover, connecting families from around the world.

Wayne Davidson is a seasoned healthcare technology leader with a strong track record of aligning IT strategy with business objectives to drive efficiency, security, and growth. He brings a pragmatic, people-first approach to leading teams, implementing scalable solutions, and navigating rapid organizational change. With a background that includes both executive leadership and running tech startup, Wayne understands how to deliver cost-effective, results-driven innovation. At RadsForVets, he leads efforts to strengthen infrastructure, enhance cybersecurity, and support the company's continued expansion. In his free time, Wayne enjoys watching and playing sports, the outdoors, and tending to the many varieties of animals on the personal farm he affectionately refers to as his backyard zoo.

Director of Clinical Operations

Victoria Palmer brings nearly 20 years of experience in the animal care industry, with a background spanning grooming, veterinary insurance, and clinical veterinary medicine. For the past 13 years, she has specialized in advanced diagnostic imaging within the veterinary field, contributing a high level of technical skill and attention to detail to every case she supports. Victoria earned her degree in Veterinary Technology from Penn Foster College and became a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in 2018. Originally from California, she has dedicated her career to providing exceptional care and support to both patients and veterinary teams. As a devoted dog and cat parent, Victoria understands the human–animal bond firsthand and brings that same compassion, care, and commitment to the pets served by RadsForVets.
